This is a photo I took in June 2001. I was
on Ellis Island. Even though it was a very hot, humid day, the skyline was
SO CLEAR. Without the 'normal' smog and haziness that usually surrounds
NYC in the summer.
I was in a crowd of tourists -all out of staters- who were all also
snapping pictures. I remarked to many of them how lucky they were to have
such a clear, beautiful view of the skyline. Thought it was important to
share this wonderful picture. A reminder that we should never forget the
senseless loss of life on 9/11/01. May true Justice prevail, and the fruit
of that pursuit will be Peace and Freedom for America and the world. God
be with all our Military Forces.
